Curvy Suite is the perfect place to host your next small event located in Chesapeake, Virginia. Whether you are envisioning a small wedding, celebrating a milestone anniversary, baby shower,book signing, photo shoot or throwing a birthday party.
To secure your reserved event date on our calendar, a deposit of 50% non refundable of the rental rate is due at the time of the reservation, along with a signed copy of the rental agreement.
We will keep a credit card on file to cover any damage, excessive cleaning or staff overtime caused by clients, guests or vendors; should they occur.
The final payment of the remaining 50% balance is due one week prior to the event.
Q: Can I visit the venue for planning after I book?
A: Yes, we allow site visits by appointment only . We do not allow site visits on the weekends or if the venue is booked, to allow privacy for events.
Q: Can I hire my own vendors (caterer, coordinator, DJ, etc.)
A: Curvy Suite does not have a liquor license and does not provide beverages of any sort. You may source and bring your own alcohol for your event. Please note that ice is not available on-site and is to be provided by your designated outside vendor. We allow you to bring in your own caterer at no extra charge.
What are the restrictions on decor?
What is the policy on candles?
The only adhesive material allowed on the walls, floors, and windows wood .
All other decorations must be freestanding. You may use candles as long as they are enclosed in glass and the flame does not reach higher than 2” below the height of the glass.
No confetti, rice, bird seed, wish lanterns, or glitter will be allowed.
Are there extras charges for cleanup?
All items and trash brought by you, your vendors, or your guests are to be removed from the indoor space by the end of your rental period. The kitchen and space should be free of food and beverages and wiped down. You are responsible for making sure that your vendors are completely finished and out by the end of your time frame. The vendors are responsible for removing their trash. If your vendors do not remove their trash, you will be responsible for trash removal.
Curvy Suite allows pets on the premises?
Pets are not permitted inside the buildings. This does not include service animals.
